Youth Forum Nepal (YFN) is a non-governmental organization established in 2007 for awareness of youth using mass media, human rights preservation, women's empowerment, combating drug using, HIV/AIDS and human trafficking, fighting for poverty and environmental sustainability working in the local and national level of Nepal as well as regional level throughout South Asia. It contributes to promote youth development through capacity building, campaigning, awareness raising, advocacy, lobbying towards caste and cultural tolerance.
YFN has network of 200 youth activists and possess a wide network affiliated with 15 local organisations in Terai. Our television show Youth Forum aired from Nepal Television for four consecutive years brought a significant contribution towards the history of Nepalese youth awareness campaign.
Youth Forum Nepal's mission is to work with all youth regardless of creed; cast, culture and societal background, to collectively strive for a society that is self-aware, violence free and well-disciplined advocating, sensitizing and awaring youth on various issues.
In upgradation of our programme and formulating strategic planning for 2008, we seek highly committed/well motivated and energetic youth from all facets of society for volunteering.
